What options do KidZui's parental controls provide, and how do I adjust them?

KidZui’s parental controls offer a number of options for parents who are looking to customize KidZui to fit their family’s needs. KidZui provides the following controls, as seen in the image below.

• Launch KidZui when the computer starts: This option will allow KidZui to start as soon as the computer starts. If you have multiple Windows or Mac accounts on your computer, KidZui will launch as soon as the account is logged into. Please note that you will need to enable this option while logged into your child’s Windows or Mac account.
  

• Run KidZui in fullscreen mode: This option toggles KidZui between fullscreen mode and windowed mode. While in fullscreen mode, KidZui will cover the entire screen, although children will be able to switch between programs using keyboard hotkeys such as the Windows key. Windowed mode makes it easier for children to switch between programs.

• Require parent password to exit KidZui: This option will place KidZui into “locked mode,” which will prevent your children from exiting KidZui or accessing other areas of your computer. In order to exit KidZui, you will have to enter your parent account password. Enabling this option will also disable all quick-keys that children may try to use in order to switch between programs or force a program to close. This option is only available when KidZui is set to run in fullscreen mode.

• Show welcome screen on startup: This option toggles the welcome screen, which displays the latest news, hints and tips.
  

To adjust any of these options, simply click on the button to toggle between their on and off positions. Once done, click on the button in the upper-right corner or anywhere outside of the parental controls window to return to KidZui.
