I received a firewall error while trying to open KidZui
The firewall error message is caused when some sort of security program prevents KidZui from connecting to the internet. There are three common types of security software that can cause this error:
Anti-virus software
Firewall software
Internet Security software
Generally, these types of software will have a section located
within their options that will allow you to adjust program access
manually. This section is commonly called Program
Access or Program Exceptions. If you add
KidZui to this section, you should be able to connect to KidZui
with your security software enabled.
You’ll find detailed instructions on how to set program exceptions for many popular types of security software below:
AVG
CA (Computer Associates) Personal Firewall
Kaspersky
McAfee
Norton/Symantec
Trend Micro
Windows Firewall
ZoneAlarm
If you have trouble adding an exception for KidZui to your security software, please contact our customer support staff and let them know the name and version number of the security software you’re using.
