Approving KidZui in Trend Micro products

Trend Micro offers a number of security solutions. We have included instructions to help you configure your Trend Micro software to allow KidZui to access the internet.

Creating an exception for KidZui in Trend Micro Internet Security

1. Open the Trend Micro Consumer Product main console.
   
2. Click on the Virus and Spyware Controls button.
   
3. Click on the Prevent Unauthorized Changes tab.
   
4. Click on the Exceptions List link. Please note that if this link cannot be clicked, it has likely been disabled by Trend Micro’s parental controls. The parental controls will have to be disabled in order to access this section.
   
5. Look for KidZui in the list of programs and click on it.
   
6. Change the response from Block to Trust.
   
7. Click OK.
   
8. Close the Trend Micro Consumer Product console.
   
9. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Creating an exception for KidZui in Trend Micro Internet Security Titanium

1. Open the Trend Micro main console.
   
2. Click on the Settings button.
   
3. Choose Exceptions List from the left panel.
   
4. Click Add
   
5. Browse to the following folder:
   Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x86)\Kidzui
   Windows XP/Vista: C:\Program Files\Kidzui
   
6. Click OK to create an exception for the KidZui folder.
