Approving KidZui in ESET NOD32 Antivirus
To add an exception that will allow KidZui to connect while using ESET NOD32 Antivirus, please follow the instructions below.
- Double-click on the NOD32 icon in your Windows system tray (by the windows clock).
- Check the display mode; by default, it should show Standard Mode. Switch to Advanced Mode by clicking Change.
- Click Setup in the upper-right corner, then click Advanced Setup.
- Browse through the options list and click on the "+" next to Antivirus and antispyware, then click Exclusions.
- Select Add and browse to the following
folder:
Windows 7: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kidzui"
Windows XP/Vista: "C:\Program Files\Kidzui" - Click OK to create an exception for the folder.
- Navigate back to the Advanced Setup menu.
- Select Web access protection under the Antivirus and antispyware menu.
- If KidZui is listed here, please ensure that a red "X" appears next to it. Otherwise, click the Add button to add an exception for the kidzui.exe file (you'll find this file in the folders listed in step 5).
- Click OK to close the Advanced Setup menu.
