What do KidZui's Parental Controls do, and how do I adjust them?
The KidZui Parental Controls adjust options that directly affect the KidZui browser, as opposed to your parent account, which allows you to adjust options related to your children’s KidZui accounts. In order to adjust KidZui’s Parental Controls, you must have created a password for your parent account. If you have not yet done so, or if you’ve misplaced your password, you can learn how to set it by clicking here.
To access KidZui’s Parental Controls, open the KidZui browser and click on the Parental Controls button along the bottom toolbar. You’ll be asked to log in with your parent email address and password. Once you’ve done so, you can adjust three options:
- Full Screen Mode: This option (enabled by default) results in the KidZui browser covering your entire screen, preventing your children from switching between programs.
- Password required to exit KidZui: Enabling this option will place KidZui into “Locked Mode,” preventing KidZui from being closed without your parent account password. Full Screen Mode must be enabled before you can select this option.
- Automatically launch KidZui when the computer starts: This option will set KidZui to open automatically when your child logs into the computer. If you have more than one computer account, make sure to enable this option while logged into your child’s Windows or Mac account.
