Unique Kidzui Setup
We are working with the Kidzui Browser in different youth areas of libraries. We would like to be able to set the browser for two default users that we have set up and restrict any other user accounts from being created. Is there any way to do this? We have found no settings in the parental controls or the parental admin sites. Any further settings we could get to or if there is a certain file that stores that data we could have replaced on log off would be helpful. Thanks for your time.

Hello,
Unfortunately, KidZui does not contain a feature that allows it to be locked to one user. While you can utilize the Parental Controls to keep kids from exiting KidZui you cannot prevent them from logging out and logging in with another user name. Please keep in mind that creating a new user requires access to email, so if you can't access email you cannot activate a new Zui or use it.
For your reference, I have included instructions to lock KidZui.
The KidZui parental controls allow you to change settings that control the security of the KidZui browser. You have the options to give your child full access to your computer or lock them into the KidZui environment. Selecting all three of the options below will effectively place KidZui in ""Locked Mode,"" which will prevent your child from exiting KidZui and accessing any other programs or files on the computer. To adjust the parental controls, please follow these steps.
Full Screen Mode (Recommended) - This option sets KidZui to run in a full-screen mode, preventing your children from accessing the desktop.
Password required to exit KidZui (Recommended) - This option will prompt the user for the parent password in order to exit KidZui. It also disables all keyboard shortcuts, fully preventing your child from leaving KidZui to access other programs on the computer.
Automatically launch KidZui when computer starts - This option starts the browser as soon as the computer starts (or as soon as a user logs into that user account).
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know if you have anymore questions.
Thank you,
Sean
