Hi,

I installed Kidzui on my daughter's computer and chose a profile for her age. Later I created a parent account and an account for her. On my computer all is well, but on her's, there is no login box in Kidzui - just the Kid Settings button. There is no way for her to log in. I tried to reinstall Kidzui but it did not help.

Thanks,

Peter

OK - I uninstalled again, deleted all the registry keys and Kidzui folders I could find, reinstalled and then got the new install screen and was able to log her in okay. However, it is something that should be looked at.

    This is great resource!!

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

You've actually downloaded two different versions of KidZui - the missing login box is not a bug, but rather our brand new browser. We have been working to greatly simplify how KidZui looks and feels, and one of the things we have done is to remove the need to create accounts and log in to use KidZui. We're in the process of releasing this version on a limited basis, which is why you were able to download both versions. We're sorry for the confusion!

I hope your family enjoys KidZui,

    Dustin

    Hi Dustin,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I had a thought that maybe versions were different.

I haven't dug very deeply into Kidzui, but I thought there was a system of points and also networking. How would that work without a login? Perhaps you can point me to a URL with an explanation, or if that version is basically a beta, I can wait for the public release.

One other thing - is there any foreign language support? I live in Thailand. While Kidzui is great to help my daughter practice her English, of course it would be more interest to her to be able to view pages and write in her native language. Other than that, I am very, very impressed with Kidzui. Wonderful concept and excellent execution! I am sure it will just get better and better.

    Regards,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm glad to hear that your family has been enjoying KidZui!

The points, networking and Zui character systems are al features from the classic version of KidZui that we decided not to carry over to the new version. We took a close look at the state of KidZui and listened to feedback from our users, and the overwhelming response that we received was that KidZui was a great browser, but that it was very cluttered and could be difficult to use. Based on that information, we made the (somewhat difficult) decision to take KidZui back-to-basics and focus on the core element of KidZui - delivering a safe, simple and fun web browsing experience. That's not to say that we won't re-introduce some of these elements in the future (one of the features of the original browser that will definitely be coming back is integration with the parent account), but at this time, we're focusing solely on making KidZui the best possible web browser for kids.

KidZui does not feature any foreign language support at this time, although developing international versions of KidZui is something we have considered. It may be something that we follow up on as KidZui continues to grow.

I hope you and your children continue to enjoy the browser. We would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions as your children continue to use KidZui!

    Have a great day,

    Dustin
