"Hello,
Thank you for contacting KidZui. We're sorry to hear that you are having trouble using KidZui. If you have installed KidZui through a computer user account that does not have administrator privileges then this is likely the source of your issue. If this is the case please uninstall and reinstall KidZui through an administrator account. I have included instructions to do so below.
The steps required to remove KidZui will vary depending on what version of KidZui you're using. Please locate your version and follow the corresponding steps below.
KidZui for Windows:
1. Click on your Start/Windows button.
2. Select All Programs.
3. Point to the KidZui folder.
4. Click on the Uninstall icon and follow the instructions on your screen.
KidZui for Mac:
1. Drag the KidZui icon to the trash.
2. Open your Finder.
3. Click on Users.
4. Select your user profile.
5. Select Library.
6. Select Preferences.
7. Locate any files that begin with ""com.kidzui"" and drag these files to the trash.
8. Empty your trash to remove KidZui.
KidZui Add-on for Firefox:
1. Open Firefox.
2. Click on the Tools menu and select Add-Ons.
3. Click on the Extensions button.
4. Locate and click on KidZui in the list of Add-Ons.
5. Click on the Uninstall icon to remove KidZui.
To download and install KidZui, please visit www.kidzui.com/download . Once there, you can select the version of KidZui that you'd like to download from the ""KidZui is also available for"" box on the right. Click on the green ""Download"" button to download KidZui, and then open the file once the download has completed. Follow the prompts on your screen to install the KidZui browser. Once installed, your kids can use their existing login info to access KidZui.
If you are using a Mac with the parental controls built into OS-X enabled, these controls are likely preventing your child from accessing KidZui. Unfortunately, KidZui is not fully compatible with the OS-X parental controls at this time. With that said, you may be able to access KidZui with the parental controls enabled by adding the following web address to OS-X's approved website list: https://ec2-75-101-149-115.compute-1.amazonaws.com
Because this address may change at any time, we cannot consider this a permanent fix to the compatibility issue with the parental controls. I'm afraid the only permanent solution we can recommend is to disable the OS-X parental controls in order to use KidZui.
If you are using Windows you may need to allow KidZui through your Windows' Firewall as well as any anti virus software you are using. To allow KidZui in the Windows' Firewall please go to your Control Panel and depending on your version of Windows select either Windows Firewall or Security Center. Both these options will allow you to access the firewall and allow a program through it or disable it all together. This may also be referred to as an Exception if you are using Window's XP.
Please also try to reinstall Adobe Flash. Please go here for instructions to do so.
Finally, please verify that your computer's time and date are correct. If they are not, this can cause login issues.
Thanks,
Sean
